Stayed in Manitou Springs, CO last night and went to another good Mexican restaurant.
Got on the road about 7:30 and drove until we got to Topeka, KS. We are now in the central time zone. Kansas - let's see - wind, wind and wind. It was okay because it was pushing us today and we kept the cruise control on 70 and sailed. There was not much to see except some corn fields and other crops.
Made it to Topeka, KS and went to a restaurant called Boss Hawg's BBQ.
Will drive tomorrow to the St. Louis, MO / Alton, IL area tomorrow to be with Dave's family.
